LU Health Education will be hosting a during finals week. A licensed massage therapist will be on campus to show students different foam rolling exercises to help alleviate muscle tension. Students who attend get free massage balls to practice massage exercises.

Student researchers present a powerful Holocaust exhibit exploring antisemitism, persecution and murder, survival, resistance, and memory. Their work honors victims, amplifies survivor voices, and challenges visitors to confront hatred and protect human dignity.

Hosted by The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Resiliency Think Tank, "Bridges of Belonging: The Art of Humanity, Humility, and Resiliency" is seeking entries. Student and alumni participants are invited to submit art work that explores themes of cultivating belonging, humanity, humility, and/or resiliency.

The deadline for applying to 1) the Summer 26 Faculty Research projects,  2) Thesis & Disseration Resilience Fellowship, and 3) Expert Reviewer is now extended to Sunday, May 10. Faculty and graduate students can apply in the Competition Space .

Per °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ policy, any student, faculty or staff member who wishes to park a motor vehicle on property owned or controlled by the university must purchase a °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ parking permit. This requirement includes lots not attached to the main campus, such as A-1, A-2, A-3, A-4 and A-5. Enforcement of parking regulations are in effect in all areas. Parking regulations may be found here. Permits can be purchased through the Self-Service Banner under the Parking tab.

STARS is extending tutoring services this spring. The LU Tutoring Center in Galloway 140 (by appointment) and many tutoring labs (no appointment needed) will be available through May 7. Visit here for schedules, info, and appointments.

STAR Services is now hiring motivated LU students for Fall 2026. Apply to be a Student Tutor, Student Success Mentor, or Academic Coach. Build leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while making an impact on campus. Learn more and apply by visiting here.

STAR Services will soon be known as the Center for Academic Success, further expanding its comprehensive approach to academic support and enrichment. Changes begin June 1, 2026, followed by a relocation to the Mary & John Gray Library. Stay tuned to campus news in the coming weeks for more updates.

The °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ Mason STEM Scholars Program was founded in 2016 by LU alumni Becky and Chuck Mason. The purpose and goal for the paid internship program is to increase the number of well-prepared science and math teachers to serve in Southeast Texas and beyond. Find more information here.
